You can order loose profiles, preassembled panels, or a structural kit. That choice sets what is fabricated at the plant and which tasks your contractor carries out on site.

How do I choose between profiles, panels, and a kit?
The choice depends on the work your contractor can perform on site and the level of prefabrication you need. Profiles require on-site assembly; panels reduce that work because they arrive preassembled; a kit brings together the structural components defined in the order. Always confirm the supply list.
What does a 275 g/m² coating mean?
It is NewCon Steel’s published specification: a zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy coating of 275 g/m² total across both faces. It is not 275 g/m² per face, and it is not a guarantee of service life in every environment. Request the material certificate and a specification suited to your project’s exposure.
How should I specify profile thickness?
State the sheet thickness in millimeters and the required section. NewCon Steel publishes a range of 0.85 to 2.5 mm. Avoid comparing offers by gauge number alone, since gauge conversions can differ; confirm thickness and tolerance in writing.
Is there a fixed price per square meter?
No. NewCon Steel publishes no prices, and no single rate fits every supply scope. Price depends on quantities, sections, thicknesses, design, prefabrication, accessories, and delivery terms. Request a quote with a bill of materials; the cost of steel supply is not the total cost of construction.
Who designs and erects the structure?
NewCon Steel supplies the components. The proposal should state the engineering scope and the documents delivered. Erection is performed by the buyer’s appointed contractor or under a separate construction contract with SmartBrix. Confirm in writing who is responsible for foundations, anchors, unloading, and lifting.
What should I confirm for an export order?
Confirm the port or delivery address, delivery terms, packaging, transport, insurance, unloading, origin documentation, and customs procedures. Duties and preferential treatment depend on the rules and authorities of the destination country; do not assume tax-free importation.
How long does supply take?
NewCon Steel confirms the lead time of each order against design, quantities, drawing approval, available capacity, and destination logistics. Published monthly plant capacity is not a delivery promise for an individual order. Ask for separate approval, production, dispatch, and arrival dates.
Does NewCon Steel fabricate from my engineer’s drawings?
Send the drawings or the structural model with quantities, profile family and thickness, and the destination country and port. NewCon Steel runs an engineering review against the destination code, builds the takeoff, and CNC-fabricates each piece to a ±0.5 mm tolerance, labeled against the shop drawing. The proposal states which engineering documents are delivered and who signs them.
