NewCon Steel®: the steel manufacturing arm of the PEB Corp Group
NewCon Steel® is the steel manufacturing brand of the PEB Corp Group. It fabricates LGS/CFS profiles, structural panels, structural kits and bolted structural steel at Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City. It supplies the steel; it does not build buildings.

PEB Corp engineers. NewCon Steel® manufactures. SmartBrix Construction builds.
Each PEB Corp Group brand sells a different scope. Keeping those scopes separate means you can request a quote from the right company at the outset.
PEB Corp Group is a Panamanian industrialized steel construction group with 350+ projects and 15+ years of track record in Panama, Colombia and the Caribbean. It comprises three brands: PEB Corp (Pre-Engineered Buildings Corp, S.A.), the parent company providing structural engineering, BIM design, institutional relations and export; SmartBrix Construction (SmartBrix Centroamérica S.A.S.), the construction unit delivering turnkey Steel Framing and modular projects; and NewCon Steel® (NewCon Steel Corp.), the manufacturer of cold-formed steel (LGS/CFS) profiles, panels and structural kits at the group's CNC plant in Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City, under the EMMA regime. The group holds ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 37001 certifications.
NewCon Steel® is not related to other companies named "NewCon". What you buy from NewCon Steel is material: linear meters of profile, m² of pre-assembled panel or metric tons (1,000 kg) of structure. We manufacture, supply, ship and certify the steel.
PEB Corp is the group's parent company: it provides the structural engineering, the BIM design and the institutional relationship. It is also the group's export gateway (Caribbean, Guyana, Suriname, Dominican Republic, Venezuela).
SmartBrix Construction is the construction unit: it executes turnkey and modular construction using the steel we manufacture.

The plant
Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City
NewCon Steel manufactures at the group's CNC plant, which has been in operation since 2018 at Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City. The address is public and the plant can be visited.
CNC plant at Centro Industrial PEB, Las Mañanitas, Panama City, operated under Panama's EMMA regime (Law 159 of 2020), which allows duty-free import of machinery, raw material and inputs.
The plant operates inside Centro Industrial PEB, the group's industrial facility. There, NewCon Steel roll-forms Zn-Al-Mg coated steel coil, CNC-cuts, punches, marks and labels each profile, and assembles the structural panels before dispatch.
The location is also a commercial decision. From Panama, transit to Central America and the Caribbean is measured in days rather than weeks, with no transpacific crossing and no full-container minimum order quantity (MOQ).

NewCon Steel makes this distinction before your procurement team has to ask.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 37001 are certifications held by the PEB Corp Group. They are not certifications of NewCon Steel as an independent entity, and we are not going to present them as such.
What belongs to NewCon Steel can be audited on each piece: the ±0.5 mm tolerance, traceability to the steel lot, the mill certificate, and the design standard for each profile.
